(300 characters max) e.g. Serious case reviews or inquiries take place when there are major concerns about adult protection working or system failures. This scoping study will provide an overview of the numbers and types of such reviews. Analysis of reports, interviews with a sample of those who have undertaken and commissioned them, and interviews with key stakeholders, including service user representatives, will inform the report. Recommendations for advice and guidance about good practice and will enable lessons and messages to be shared. This study will also inform adult protection policy and will outline areas for future research if appropriate.
